Adding and Accessing External Training Records as Learners
Auzmor Learn lets learners view their external certificates in the same location as that of the certificates for on-platform trainings. Given the appropriate privileges, learners can also add external certificates and even external trainings of their own accord.
Viewing Records and Certificates for External Trainings as a learner
As a learner you can view the certificates you've earned for external training by following the steps below:
- Click on the profile drown and open "My Certificates." You'll be taken to the My Certificates page where you'll see two tabs:
- Internal Records - this will list all the certificates you've earned by completing trainings directly on the Learn platform.
- External Records - this will list all the certificates you've earned by completing external trainings, which have in turn been added on Learn as a proxy to maintain completion records.
- Click on the "External Records" tab.
You'll see all external training records and certificates listed here.
Adding Records and Certificates for External Trainings as a learner
If the platform has been configured such that learners can create their own records, learners can add them from the 'External Records" tab of the "My Certificates" page by following the below steps:
- Click on the '+' button. You'll only see the button if admins have configured the platform for learners to be able to add external records directly.
- You'll see a popup that prompts you to enter fields related to the external training and your record details for that training.
- Enter the Issuing Authority and Training Name of the training for which you want to add your record.
You will need to select pre-existing authorities and training names if the
platform has been configured to not allow learners from adding trainings
directly.
- You'll be required to fill in all the mandatory fields of the form. The form fields can vary depending on the platform's configurations. Once done, click on 'Add".
The record will be added and listed in the external records list.
If the platform has been set up such that records added by learners will require
approvals, you'll see a "Pending Approval" tag on the record till it is approved.
