Bulk Operation To Edit Course Settings

Bulk Operation To Edit Course Settings

Roles: Admin

Description: In this article, you will learn how admins can use bulk operations in Auzmor Learn to update settings for multiple courses at once. This feature helps save time, maintain consistency, and simplify repetitive tasks by allowing changes to be applied across several courses in a single action.

Benefits:

  • Efficiency: Update multiple courses in a single action instead of editing them individually.

  • Consistency: Apply uniform settings such as reminders, expiration, and validity settings.

  • Control: Review and confirm all changes before they are applied.

  • Visibility: Access a clear status report with successful and unsuccessful updates.

Step by Step Guide: You may refer to the screenshots below for a step by step guide on how to edit course settings in bulk.

Step 1: Go to the Courses tab and Select all the courses you want to update.

Step 2: Click the pencil icon at the top to open the Bulk Edit section.

Step 3: Within Bulk Edit, select the settings you would like to update. The following options are available:

  1. The Courses Settings: Update the similar course settings at once for multiple courses by adding the details and clicking on the check box as needed.

  2. Assessment Settings: Modify assessment settings across courses.

  3. Categories: Update the categories of multiple courses at once.

  4. Custom Field [If created]: They can update the same at once for all the selected courses.

Step 4: After all updates are made, click Continue.

Step 5: Review the list of pending changes that will be applied to the selected courses. Click apply once you have verified the details.

Step 6: A course-wise status list will display:

  • A check mark indicates the update was successfully processed.

  • ⚠️ An exclamation mark indicates the update could not be processed due to data inconsistencies.

Note: If a course does not include an assessment, requests to set Passing Criteria or Assessment Attempts will not apply.
