Course Assessment Settings
Course Assessment Settings
Assessment Settings allow you to set completion criteria for the course, for example, passing marks, optional exams, etc. You can access the assessment settings while either creating the course under the ‘Course Settings’ options or while you’re making changes in the ‘Draft’ or ‘Published’ courses. You can also change the assessment settings for the Draft courses as well.
Assessment Settings has 3 sections:
- Passing Criteria - This entails setting a minimum percentage for the learners to pass
- Fix Number of Attempts - This option allows you to limit the number of attempts for a particular assessment if the learner does not pass
- Assessment Optional - This function enables the course creator to choose whether or not the assessment is mandatory for learners
