Differences Between Tasks and Observational Checklists in Auzmor Learn
Tasks: Traditional tasks consist of a checklist of activities that the assignee must complete and verify on their own before a reviewer assesses their performance. This self-verification process can sometimes lead to inconsistencies in how tasks are reported.
Observational Checklists: Observational checklists require no proactive action from the user being evaluated. Instead, reviewers observe the user as they perform tasks, directly verifying completed actions and providing feedback. This approach allows for a more accurate assessment of skills and techniques in real-time.
Step by Step Guide: You may refer to the screenshots below for a step by step guide on how to create Observation Checklists in Auzmor Learn.
Step 1: Once the Tasks module is enabled, it will appear under the ‘Learning Center’ tab. Click on ‘Tasks’ and then select the + sign at the bottom. Observational checklist is the new enhancement added to the Tasks Module.

Subtasks: These are smaller tasks or steps that need to be completed by the reviewer as part of the observational checklist process. This breakdown makes the overall task more manageable and easier to track. Admins can also set due dates for each respective subtask, ensuring that each component of the evaluation is completed on time. Additionally admins choose the response types when configuring the subtask depending on the nature of the subtask. When responding to and completing a subtask, reviews will be required to provide a response as per the type that has been selected.
Response types may include
