Enabling Training Feedback to collect ratings & reviews
Trainings Feedback is a feature on Learn that allows admins to collect ratings & reviews from users when they complete a training. Once it has been enabled for the organization, admins can further enable it per training and configure it as mandatory or optional.
Enabling Training Feedback for the Organization
Primary admins will need to enable training feedback from the Organization Settings to give other admins the option to enable it for trainings. Here's how primary admins can enable it for the entire organization and all its branches:
- Click on your profile picture on the top bar and then click on "Settings".
- Scroll down on the left side menu and click on 'Trainings'. You'll see a "Training Feedback" configuration on the right side.
- Click on "Enable". You'll see a popup that will inform you that training feedback will be enabled for the entire organization as well as for all the trainings in branches. Click on "Enable" on this popup to continue.
Once done, admins will see the option to enable or disable feedback for trainings when creating and editing trainings.
Enabling Training Feedback for each Training
Admins will be able to enable training feedback for training and configure if it's mandatory or optional for the learners to fill in. Here's how admins can enable training feedback per training when creating a training:
- When you've configured the content for the course or path or event and reach the "Settings" step during training creation, you'll see an option called "Learner Feedback".
- Click on the dropdown next to it and select "Enable". Once you do that, you'll see an additional configuration appear termed as "Filling Feedback".
- Select 'Mandatory' for the Filling Feedback configuration to enforce learners to fill in the training 'feedback or select 'Non-mandatory' to keep it optional.
- Click on "Done".
You can also edit a training and find the same options as above in the training's settings.
Once the above steps are completed, the following changes will happen across the platform:
- Learners will now be prompted to provide ratings for the training and provide a review for it.
- All users will be able to sort & filter trainings by their ratings.
- All users will see a "Review" tab on the trainings details page. This page will provide an average rating by learners and list the reviews for learners to see.
- All users will be able to sort and filter reviews in a training.
- Admins will be able to hide reviews that are derogatory and unprofessional. Hiding a review will not impact the rating of the training.
Note:
- Learners will not be able skip providing feedback when its confgiured as mandatory.
A training will not be considered as completed if feedback is not provided in such cases.
- Reviews are always optional.
