How do I brand Learn for my organisation?

How do I brand Learn for my organisation?

You can easily brand your platform using Learn’s new branding options!

In this article, we’ll walk you through how you can make Learn look and feel like a cohesive unit of your organization’s brand by changing the logo, color scheme, login screen, and more.

Once you’ve logged into your Primary Admin account,

  • Click on your profile name on the top right and then click on Settings.
  • Within Settings, click on ‘Branding’ from the left navigation pane.
  • You’ll see 3 sub-sections under the main window: Page Info, Themes, and Login. Clicking on the drop-down next to each will expand/collapse each section.

Changing logos & Page Title

You can change the platform logo in this section:

  • Click on the Page Info dropdown to expand the section.
  • Under Logo, click on ‘Upload New’ and select the image you want to use.
  • Click on Reset to remove the selection and switch back to the default logo.

You can also change the favicon for the platform:

  • In the same section, under Favicon, click on ‘Upload new’ and select the image you want to use.
  • The logo will appear on the left side of your browser’s tab.
  • Click on Reset to remove the selection and switch back to the default logo.
Recommended Logo resolution: 32*32, 64*64, 128*128 or 256*256 (all in pixels)
The supported file formats are PNG, JPG & ICO

You can also change the Page Title for the entire platform

  • In the same section, you’ll see an input box under ‘Page title’. Enter the text you want to display on your browser’s tab, next to the Favicon.

 

Change the Platform’s Theme

You will be able to configure the colors of your platform in this section.

  • Click on the Themes dropdown to expand the menu.
  • You will have the option to select the primary color for the platform from a color picker. The primary color is applied to all the action buttons, icons, and links that need users' attention. Moreover, the emails would also have the primary color instead of the Auzmor's pink. 
  • Click on the color picker drop-down and select the color you want to use. You can also enter the hex code of the color if you already have the exact desired color code handy.

  • You will be able to see a dynamic preview of how you can expect the platform to look once you select or enter a color.

Additionally, you can also select a secondary color. The secondary color appears on a few elements like tags, non-essential info, etc. 

  • Click on “+ Add Secondary Color”. You will see another color picker that you can choose a color from.
  • You will see a preview of the elements on which the secondary applies in the dynamic preview on the right side which will change depending on the chosen color.

  • You can reset the colors to default by clicking on the ‘Reset’ button in that section.

 

Customize the Login page

You will be able to configure the login page of your platform in this section.

  • Click on the Login dropdown to expand the menu. You will see several options with the preview of the login screen on the right side.

You can change the layout of the information block under the “Layout Alignment" setting.

  • Choose among the three options to change the alignment of the information block by simply clicking on the one you want to go for
  • Select the background you want to have for the login page by selecting amongst video, image or color.
    • If you select image or video, click on ‘Upload’ and select the file you want to add.
    • If you select color, select the color from the color picker that appears.

You will see more customization options if you have chosen the Layout Alignment as Right or Left. You may choose to

  • Add a header text by entering the required text in the input box under ‘Header’.
  • Change the alignment of the Header text by clicking on the alignment buttons adjoining the Header text box.
  • Add description by entering the required text in the input box under Description’.
  • Change the alignment of the description by clicking on the alignment buttons adjoining the description text box.

All changes that you make will be shown to you in the preview on the right of the section.

Click on ‘Save’ to apply any changes that you want to apply to Learn. 

You can always change or reset the settings and apply a fresh coat of paint on the platform till you feel everything is perfect!
