Learning Path Settings
Settings are a powerful way to ensure efficient completion of training. This option is available for administrators.
For Administrators
Following are the different settings that can be used when creating a learning path:
- Path Validity: Validity is a period of time that users have to complete a specific path (due date).
Note: When you add 10 days or 30 days within the validity date section the user has that many days to complete the training.
- Single Reminder: Set up a single reminder via email and in-app notification for a specific number of days before the due date.
- Recurring Reminder: Set up a series of reminders via email and in-app notification to be sent out in specific intervals before the due date.
- Recurring Overdue Notification [Frequency]: Send your learner a recurring reminder after the deadline has passed.
- Overdue Notification End Limit: If the recurring overdue Notifications are enabled, you can choose its number of occurrences when should the overdue notifications stop.
- Sequential Training Access Lock: When adding training to the path, if the "Complete by Order" checkbox is enabled, you will have the option to enable or disable sequential unlocking. If sequential unlocking is enabled, when a learner fails a training, the subsequent trainings in the path will not be accessible until they successfully complete the previous one.
Note: "Complete by Order" is a setting that is controlled when you are adding content to a path initially.
- Notify Path Completion: Admins now have the option to set up an email notification to be sent as soon as a learner completes a learning path.
Note: It can be both Internal or External Users.
External Users: It can be your common email id for any teams/department.
- Path Duration: Display a different course duration to learners than the sum total of all course duration that is displayed.
- Accessibility: You can see the accessibility of the path to Public or Privacy. Paths made private are visible only to the people assigned to the path.
Public: If you set it to Public, the program will be available to all learners, allowing them to Enroll.
Private: If you set it to Private, admins define who can access the path.
Advanced Customization: Once set to private, you'll see the "Advanced Customization" option. From there, you can adjust accessibility and make the program visible to either the team or an individual.
- Access to Private Trainings for Mentors: If enabled, Mentors will have access to add Private trainings in their Mentorship programs. If disabled, this Private training would not be accessible for Mentors to add to their Mentorship programs.
- Forum: Disabling the forum here hides the forum's access from users. Enabling allows the access.
- Learner Feedback: The admins can enable or disable the option for learners to give reviews and ratings for the Path.
Note: Users have the option to use the star rating to rate the path between 1-5 and also add any comments.
- Filling Feedback: If you keep this Mandatory, it will enforce learners to submit ratings & reviews by considering the path as incomplete unless they submit feedback for it.
- Allow unenrollment: If enabled, the learners who have self enrolled to the training can unenroll the path.
Note: If a training has been assigned by an Admin or Manager, the user can not unroll from the training themselves.
- Allow Team Managers to View this Path: If Enabled, The Team Managers can view this Path in the 'All Paths' and 'Managed Paths' sections and access the same.
