Quick Course Creation: Build Courses in 7 Easy Steps

Step by Step Guide: You may refer to the steps below for a step-by-step guide on how to build courses within the “Quick Course Builder”.

Step 1: Courses Tab: From your admin view, click on the Training tab in your navigation bar and select Courses from the dropdown menu.



Step 2: Navigate to Course Creation Click on the + sign and select the Quick Course Creation option.



Step 3: Enter Course Details Once you click on Create Course, you will see the option to add:

  • Title: Give your course a name.

  • Select Category: Choose an appropriate category.

  • Upload Banner: Add a banner image for the course.

  • Description: Provide a brief summary of the course content.

  • Custom Fields: Custom Fields are optional information that can be added at the course level for learners, such as:

Class Level: Indicates the difficulty of the course, such as Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced.
Example: A course titled “Intro to Programming” might have a class level set to “Beginner.”

Credits for Course: Displays how many credits or points learners can earn upon course completion. Example: A course might offer “3 credits” toward a certification or learning requirement.

Prerequisite: Lists any required courses or knowledge before enrolling. Example: A course on “Machine Learning” may require “Introduction to Programming.”

Advanced Prep: Suggests preparation that may help learners succeed in the course. Example: A Public Speaking course may recommend practicing presentations beforehand.






Step 4: Add Lessons Once all initial course details are added, lessons can be easily created within the course builder.

Create a Lesson: Click on the Add New Lesson option to begin creating a lesson.

Add Lesson Title: Enter the title you want to assign to the lesson.


Add Description: Add lesson content and descriptions using the rich text editor.

The lesson description can be structured into multiple sections using the highlighted Text icon within the editor. You can also format the content using headings, bold text, bullet points, numbered lists, hyperlinks, tables, text alignment, and additional formatting options.

The three-dot menu available at the end of the toolbar also allows you to duplicate or delete content blocks as needed.

Add Attachments: You can upload and organize supporting content directly within the lesson, including:

  • Files and documents

  • Images

  • Videos

  • Embedded videos

  • External links

Supported File Types:

  • Images: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif (Up to 10 MB)

  • Videos: .mp4, .mov (Up to 1 GB)

  • Documents: .pdf, .doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, .ppsx (Up to 20 MB)

Sections can be arranged in the required sequence using the six-dot drag available on the left side.


Additional Lesson Options: The highlighted gear icon allows administrators to configure the Lesson Skip Duration.



The three-dot menu available at the lesson level provides additional options to:

  • Duplicate lessons

  • Delete lessons

Save Lesson: Once the lesson content is added, click Save Lesson. You can continue adding additional lessons as needed.



Step 5: Add Assessment: Once the lessons are created, you can add assessment questions to the course individually or through bulk upload.

Assessment Types

  • Multiple Choice: Choose multiple answers from a list.

  • Single Choice: Select one answer from a list.

  • Ordering: Arrange items in the correct order.

  • Free Text: Write responses in your own words.

  • Upload File: Attach a file as a response.

  • Matching: Match items from two lists.

  • Fill in the Blank: Complete missing words in a sentence.

Step 6: Create Certificate: You can create a certificate for the course by adding one or more attributes to the sample templates provided and save your design for future use.

Step 7: Course Settings: Lastly, configure the course settings and review all added content to ensure everything is correct.


Once you are satisfied, click Publish to make the course available to the respective learners.

Note: You can update or modify course settings at any time after publishing.
