  • Click on "Tasks". You'll be taken to the main Tasks page. Here, you will see a gear icon.
  • Click on the gear icon. You will see the following options here:
    • Allow Managers to Create Tasks
    • Allow Learners to Create Tasks
    • Allow Assignees to create Subtasks to Assigned Tasks
  • You can enable or disable each of them depending on the access you want users in your organization to have.

Here's what each of them does:

  • Allow Learners to Create Tasks - Enabling this will allow learners to freely create tasks for themselves. Learners will be able to configure the entire content structure of the Tasks that they create for themselves including title, description, subtasks, due dates, reviewers, and more.
  • Allow Assignees to create Subtasks to Assigned Tasks - Enabling this will allow assignees to create subtasks within tasks that have been assigned to them by other users. Note that assignees will always be able to create subtasks for tasks that they create for themselves.
