An event can have certificates added to them for learners who complete it successfully. Only admins are allowed to add certificates and configure them. Certificates can be added to the event any time before it goes live

You can do so either:

• During Event Creation, or
• After Event creation

During Event Creation

• You will reach the "Certificates" section either after you add and configure assessments or choose to skip them.

• You can either skip this step by clicking on the "Skip" button and move on to the next section, or click on "Create Certificate" to add one to the event.
• Here, you will have the standard certificate creation form that you can easily customize. You will also have a real-time preview of the certificate as and when you make changes so that you can easily monitor how the certificate will look to learners.
• After you've configured the certificate, you can click on "Create Certificate" to add it to the event. 
• You will be shown a final preview of the certificate along with options to edit it further or delete it entirely.
• Once done, you can click on "Continue" to proceed to the final step in the event creation flow.

After Event Creation

You can also add, remove or edit certificates outside the event creation flow, i.e, to a pre-existing event as long as it has not ended.

• When you open an event as an admin to view its details, you'll see a tab labeled as "Certificate". 

• When you click on it, you will also see an option to "Create Certificate".

You may see the preview of a certificate if one has already been added to the event.

• When you click on 'Create Certificate", you will see the standard certificate creation form here as well.
• After you've configured the certificate, you can click on "Create Certificate" to add it to the event. 
• You will be shown a final preview of the certificate along with options to edit it further or delete it entirely.
