Okta SSO Configuration

Below are the steps to Configure Okta SSO:

  1. Enter the Login credentials and click Sign In button
  2. Once logged in, please ensure that you are accessing the platform as an Admin (Using the “Admin” View)
  3. Click on the Applications option on the Left-Hand pane and click on the Create App Integration button

  4. Select platform as Web and sign on method as SAML 2.0 and click Create.



  5. Enter an App Name in the general settings and click Next

  6. Fetch ACS URL, Entity ID and RelayState/Start URL from Okta pop-up in the SSO section in Auzmor Learn



  7. Use the above-mentioned attributes to configure the same on Okta. For Name ID format, please select EmailAddress


  8. In the Attribute Statements section, please add the following attributes:
    1. Attribute Name: firstName
      - Format Type: Basic
      - Value: user.firstName

    2. Attribute Name: lastName
      - Format Type: Basic
      - Value: user.lastName


  9. Click the Next button
  10. Select the first option I'm an Okta customer adding an internal app

  11. Click Finish
  12. Under Settings, in the Application Detail Page, please go to the SAML Signing Certificates section. For a given active certificate, please click on Actions and select View IDP Metadata

  13. This will open the xml content in a new tab, copy the data and create a new text file and save it with a .xml extension.



  14. Please give users access to the newly created application by assigning them individually/by uploading spreadsheets in the Import section on Okta




  15. On Auzmor Learn, please go to the Okta Configuration Section and select the Upload Metadata XML option. Please upload the XML file generated in the above section here.
