Attachments section in Courses

Sharing important information is a requirement for a lot of trainings these days. In numerous circumstances we notice that  documents, PowerPoints, images, videos or spreadsheets need to be made available to Learners either as a part of their  job requirements post training or for allowing Learners to hold on to a few critical course lesson files which they need.

For Administrators

Attachments can now be added to any course in your library, we have added a new tab in the course profile which will allow you to add any type of file which Learners can download.

Attachment File types: avi, mp4, mpg, wmv, mov, m4v, doc, docx, pages, pdf, ppt, jpeg, jpg, png, gif, xls, xlsx

These files will be available to the Learners only if the course is in "Published" status.

For Managers

Managers are not allowed to upload attachments to a course as they don't have privileges to create courses in the LMS.

For Learners

Learners can now access all files uploaded by their LMS Admin from the course profile page. This applies to assigned courses as well as courses in the LMS Library which they self enroll into.
