Excel upload of users in bulks helps admins save a lot of time when inviting users to Learn LMS. You can now group new users into Teams and update user fields and Custom fields as you invite them to the Learn LMS. Here are the steps on how to perform these actions:

For Administrator

1. Login to Learn LMS as an Admin and (1) go over to "People" tab. (2) Click the icon at the bottom right corner and hover over "Invite People" to (3) click "Add People"
2. (4) Download template on the right and open the spreadsheet. 
3. The spreadsheet would contain two tabs, (5) "Custom Fields" and (6) "User Data with Custom fields"                                     
4. Upload the Filled Spreadsheet to Learn LMS and (7) click "Send Invitation"

Custom Fields (Optional) - 1st Tab

If you wish to create user level Custom Fields in your LMS you may do by entering Custom Field names and the type of field that needs to be created. Few examples are given in the spreadsheet, they may be replaced. 

User Data with Custom fields - 2nd Tab

Enter User details in the 2nd tab and fill all values for Custom Fields 

Please note:

• When creating a Checkbox type Custom Field the values must either be "TRUE" or "FALSE"
• For List type Custom Fields Field values need to be entered in the first tab and the same values need to be used when entering data in the 2nd tab for new users who are being invited.
• Remove all unnecessary Custom Fields from the spreadsheet (Both tabs) before uploading it to the LMS.

For Managers

Managers cannot invite new Users to the LMS.

For Learners

Learners cannot invite new Users or sign up on their own to the LMS.
