How to Customize visibility of a Course/Learning Path to make them available for select Teams/Users in the Library
We can now selectively control which users see a set of Courses / Learning Paths in the Library.
For Administrator
Custom Visibility for Course
1. Log in to Learn LMS and go to Courses section and hover over any tile and click View Course (1) and then go to Course Settings (2)
2. Scroll down to "Accessibility" and select Private (3) from the dropdown. Click on Advanced Customization (4)
3.Choose if you would like to make the course visible to specific Teams / Individuals (5). Use the filter and Sort (6) function to make your selection(s), when done click Save (7).
4. The Custom Accessibility setting will be visible in Course Settings. Click Update (8) to exit "Course Settings".
The course in question will now be visible for the selected users/Team alone in the Library section for them to Self-Enroll.
Custom Visibility for Path
1. Log in to Learn LMS and go to Paths section and hover over any tile and click View Path (1) and then go to Path Settings (2)
2. Scroll down to "Accessibility" and select Private (3) from the dropdown. Click on Advanced Customization (4)
3.Choose if you would like to make the Path visible to specific Teams / Individuals (5). Use the filter and Sort (6) function to make your selection(s), when done click Save (7).
4. The Custom Accessibility setting will be visible in Path Settings. Click Done (8) to exit "Path Settings".
The Path in question will now be visible for the selected users/Team alone in the Library section for them to Self-Enroll.
Visibility of Events(Instructor Led Training) can also be now by clicking the advanced Customization link under Private.
For Managers
Managers cannot access Course/Path settings hence cannot make changes to visibility.
For Learners
Learners cannot access Course/Path settings hence cannot make changes to visibility.
